Provider guide
Grok usage limits
Grok is unusual because the value depends on where you use it. Some people get Grok through X Premium, while others subscribe directly through Grok surfaces. WeeklyUsage tracks Free, X Premium, X Premium+, SuperGrok, and SuperGrok Heavy separately because the social features and standalone AI features are not the same purchase.
What to know
X says Grok is available on X for iOS, Android, and web, and can use X public posts and real-time web search when answering. That makes it appealing for social, newsy, or real-time questions, but it also means users should pay attention to data and personalization settings.
X Premium is a social subscription with Grok benefits. Premium includes increased Grok usage limits, while Premium+ includes higher Grok limits plus mostly ad-free X, largest reply prioritization, Radar Search, and Articles. SuperGrok is the standalone path, but exact public caps and checkout pricing are less consistently published.

Limit notes
Consumer caps are not published like a clean table
Use Grok plan limits as directional unless you can see the cap in-product. X and xAI use language such as increased limits, higher limits, and much higher rate limits rather than stable public counters.
X Premium is not the same as SuperGrok
X Premium tiers bundle social features and Grok usage. SuperGrok tiers are better to check when you want Grok itself and do not care about X features.
Data controls deserve a look
X documents controls for Grok training, personalization, conversation deletion, and protected posts. It is worth reviewing those before using Grok with sensitive work.
